Sony's first 48" OLED, the A9S brings premium quality to a size class that has been somewhat neglected in recent years.

As a user of the 65 A9F and the 65 LG C8 my wishlist for the A9H would be:
- Better OS (more stable than current Android 9 on my A9F) -> so maybe Android 10 - Good working BFI mode - Internal pattern generator for autocal (like LG or Panasonic has) - HDMI 2.1 (with VRR, eARC, ALLM and QMS) - added near black dithering (like LG did via update) to get rid of near black chrominance overshoot bug - better dolby vision intergration - better input lag for gaming If they manage to get those things working, I will upgrade from my current A9F... The A9F with its current firmware randomly crashes and restarts while zapping through the menu or using internal apps. I even concidered to upgrade from A9F to the LG CX, but I like sonys motion handling better. So I will wait for september and then I will decide... |
