Default Who owns Alias streaming rights?

With streaming becoming more and more popular every day, and (up till now) Alias isn't on any streaming platform. The question I have, is why and (whenever it is, which streaming platform will it be on?

owned by Disney/Touchstone . distributed by Buena vista TV. based on that if it becomes available I would say Hulu since Disney owns it.

It was on Netflix a few years ago and then it moved to Hulu along with the show Lost. For some reason, it was removed from Hulu while Lost has remained on there.

Looks like it left Netflix September 2016 https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...&postcount=159

And if I remember correctly, Lost and Alias went to Hulu on January 2017. Alias was probably on there for about a year.

Believe the only option is to buy it - and for my pocket book at least, it's always too expensive at $15-30 a season for a 20 year old show, as much as I love the first several years of it.

I think I got all five seasons for around $20 in total via the Bay.

Yeah, the DVDs are super cheap at this point. I frequently see them for $5 or so at places like Amoeba but it would be great if it were streaming since then it would be HD, and great if each season were cheaper to purchase in digital HD.

Wow. Genuinely surprised by this news given that Disney controls Alias AND Hulu now. Wonder if the contract was already in place. Otherwise it’s odd to me that they’d allow a bigger (even tho older) title to an off-brand streamer at this point given it’s all about content to gain subs.

It may not be an exclusive to Prime, there are many shows (Star Trek, Twilight Zone) that play on multiple services at the same time.

FYI- The complete series of Alias is on sale at Vudu for only $24.99.

Just bought it myself.
