But seriously, there were only a handful of AAA exclusives. 90% was 3rd party multi platform non exclusives. Games like halo infinite and this are years off.

IT was a solid show but still lacked major exclusives.

Me personally I will be waiting for the next gen Xbox, it's only a couple years away so I'll stick with the One S for now.

Battletoads FINALLY... fully handdrawn 2D, 4K 2D confirmed (I've been on a kick with 4K 2D games like Dragon's Crown Pro, Mother Russia Bleeds, Guacamelee 2 etc)

TIDUS looked cool (I love Zeldalikes, isometric reminds me of Landstalker, Fez and Zelda)

Sessions, the new T.H.U.G. inspired skateboarding game... (we're never getting Skate 4 or a decent Tony Hawk - fresh air please)

spin off of Life Is Strange (reminds me of Spaceman Spiff and Heart of Darkness)

If I only played exclusives, then I'd be bored to death by 99% of all of E3, every year since it's inception.

Not knocking it all. Was just disappointing that none of their big exclusives are coming this year. All the big stuff they showed that is coming this year or soon as in next year were pretty much all on PS4 too.

I use my Xbox for exclusives, unfortunately only Forza is coming this year and everything else was multi plat, bar a few indie games.

But a lot of the games you pointed out are all on PS4, so was wondering what it was in there that made you want an Xbox considering you already had a PlayStation, not saying you shouldn't buy Xbox by the way.

I just want new games. It doesn't matter if it's for X-Box or PS4. Halo, Forza, and Gears for X-Box seems fine. At least they're not just more remasters. And Shadow of the Tomb Raider is also a good thing.

There's a few things that make me want an Xbox anyway, a handful of actual xbox games, the BC, and the sense of being more guaranteed futureproof next gen. Even some of the multiplats I play now, I want to play better. I forgot, NieR Automata actually putting "enhanced on Xbox One X" in the short trailer they had gets me too. Getting tired of hitting the limits on my Pro, and I already know the stutter and frame pacing on Shadows Die Twice is probably going to be even worse than Bloodborne was.

I've been looking for an excuse. The show in general showed me a lot of stuff I know I'm probably going to want to play on an X instead of on my Pro. Consoles fit my lifestyle (I even like that I can take one to a pawn shop if times get rough), but I still like fidelity and performance. Price drop soon, probably a few more $ off for a Holiday sale. We'll see.

I didn't give the show a 10/10 for making me want an Xbox, it was 10/10 for bringing the heat overall.

A lot of energy this year. Phil having a seat at the table with Nadella is the main reason they went out and bought a couple studios. Most of the really good stuff is probably next year and there was way to much post apocalyptic stuff for my tastes. Looking forward to Horizon 4, Ori, Tomb Raider and Poncho(?) (the cute fox Zelda looking game) for coming soon games. Also interested to see what the Gamepass Fast Start actually does. Good to see 3rd parties investing in the service by having some of their games on it day 1 as well. If it wasn’t profitable they wouldn’t do it.

Weird that they mentioned a new system. Sure we all know both MS and SONY are knee deep in development but it seemed unnecessary. I wonder if SONY will make a tease as well. Guess it can’t hurt at this point. With the way ND and Druckman keep plastering Twitter hyping TLoU 2 I wouldn’t totally rule out them saying “this is running on the next PlayStation but also works on existing hardware.”

Really excited for Gears 5. Funny how I just beat Gears 4 again before the conference. It’s good that they’re focusing on Kait’s story with the necklace.

Looks like my X1X will be getting a workout for the next year.

They could still continue her story while still allowing us to play as JD or Marcus. This has been a Fenix story from the beginning and I don’t like how they are changing things.
