Looks like CGI footage, but maybe not. If it's not single player offline though, and another Friday the 13th online only game, then they missed the fact that the movies, Ash does everything pretty much on his own. Ash vs Evil Dead, he had some help.

I'll wait to hear if it's online only. If so, I'll pass.

Surprised it's in 3rd person, as most online only games love making almost everything these days first person shooter view only.

Online only stinks. They can take this potentially sort of fun action game and keep it, I won't play it even as a fan of the movies/series.

A number of people on the original video posted about wanting an offline single player mode, but the developers probably ignored it completely.

Or maybe not?

Other than that video, I can't find any info on a single player mode. It just mentions multiplayer.

I also read there’d be a single player mode with AI bots playing in place of other actual players.

Thanks. If a full roam offline single player mode in Evil Dead the game for PS5, I'll buy it. 39.99 for the disc version, but that arrives in May 2022. Digital I believe is February maybe. I have to check.

I did find a post on the game's social media from late last year saying they were working on a offline single player mode. Not many details beyond that.

Ordered the Collector's Edition (PS4), I m too weak

I had a lot of fun with FT13,Predator and Dead by Daylight and I love Evil Dead to death,so why not.
But now that I'm thinking about it the preorder skins won't work on a European PSN...

Thanks. Offline would be the key, as sometimes these online multiplayer games offer single player modes, but require being connected online to play them, as in Ubisoft's The Division 1 and 2 games and Fallout 76.

I did find an article that suggests single player may be able to play with AI bots and a couple single player missions, but the details are so general that it's tough to know exactly what they're talking about, as it could require being connected online to access it, which would stink.
Hopefully before May, Saber Interactive reveals the full details of single player mode, but I bet they'll wait till the game is released and only through others will I know if it's online or offline SP.

The collector's edition would be cool as a collectible I bet for fans of the films and series, but yeah, I bet DLC from another country won't work, restricted to each country.

I actually talked with the company and they told me they're trying to make the DLC region free,which is very cool of them.

Now if only they add Mia to the game,this could be the perfect companion to the films and TV show.

Okay, thanks. Yes, she kicked butt in that film against the very Evil Dead demons.

I'm thinking this game will be based mostly on Bruce Campbell's versions, but as DLC, I can imagine Mia may appear too eventually. It would be easy to do.
