Default Tcl 43s425

How good is the 43S425 by TCL? My current 1080P television is suffering from backlight failure, so replacement is looking likely. I figure I may as well upgrade while I'm at it. What can those of you that have owned the 43S425 tell me about it? Would my 1080P blu ray discs look noticeably better? Any info would be appreciated. Oh, and my budget is extremely limited, so it's either this or Sceptre.

I used this model for pc gaming but never watched a movie or tv on it. For gaming it looked good but just moved up to the 49 inch version last week.

If I order online can I trust it to arrive functional? What are the chances of it getting broken in transit? The lowlifes within 250 miles of my nearest Walmart and Best Buy have insured that I can't get it at a brick and mortar store. I hate people.
