Default Sony BDV-N9200W and Dolby Atmos

I'm not tech savvy, but have an inquiry regarding Sony BDV-N9200W, is there a way for it to decode or work around Dolby Atmos BD tracks?

ok, you say your not tech savvy, fine, but you ask if the player can decode ATMOS but, you then ask can it work around ATMOS so, i'm trying to figure out what you are trying to ask/do.

either you want ATMOS or you don't, which one is it? that's all i'm trying to find out to help you. you haven't stated the why or what you mean about working around ATMOS tracks.

All I want to know if Dolby Atmos is somehow "compatible" even if the Sony HT doesn't support Dolby Atmos?

And why I keep reading in articles that if the player doesn't support Dolby Atmos it downgrades or something like that to TrueHD !!

It doesn’t downgrade as such, it just ignores the extension so you get a proper TrueHD track.

So the only difference or rather say privilage is the surround system (the no channels thing) that Dolby Atmos offers, right?
