Twilight Time is bringing this excellent 1978 adaptation of Robert Stone's Dog Soldiers to blu-ray on May 16. An unfortunate box office flop during late summer '78 release and featuring terrific performances from Nick Nolte, Tuesday Weld, Michael Moriarty, Ray Sharkey, Richard Masur, Gail Strickland, Charles Haid and Anthony Zerbe, it's one of the best of Karel Reisz's small but sterling filmography. A devoted following has kept its memory alive over the years and this release will be most welcomed by its members.
