It could be here now if the master programmer would only plug that reality into the Matrix. I'll ask the oracle and see what she can do to speed this up.

I have the collection in DVd, and I have been tempted to watch them (it has been a couple of years since I last enjoyed them). However, I have managed to save my interest for the Blu-ray version (may the come quickly).

Warner Brothers has made no official statement but we should expect this title before the end of the year.

I was pretty sure the Matrix was scheduled for q4 2007 release. It even said it on this site if I recall right awhile back. Unless they plan to do over the encode that isnt a hddvd port...warner should be able to release it any time

actually, warner bros has ALWAYS been blu, just to let u know...their decision was to drop hd dvd, not go blu. however, the few movies that they released only on hd dvd and not blu (matrix, batman, V, are the best imo) could be announced at any time and for any release date from may til december. however i expect them all to be out by Jan 1 2009

It should have been released last year right before Christmas, that definitely would of been a big hit for Blu-Ray. They may hold back The Matrix until next holiday season for Blu-Ray, but I'm sure Batman Begins will be on Blu-Ray right before The Dark Knight hits the theaters.

They will still be releasing blu titles all year. They will go exclusive in June not July. They will honor hd dvd's until the end of May, and they will come out AFTER the dvd and blu ray releases. When did you move to Indy, and what part of town do you live on?

I hope when the trilogy does come to Blu-Ray, you have the option of buying them individually. Because I only want the first one.
