Hi, we're struggling to upgrade our receiver. We had an old Yamaha that we already sold off, and we tried a out of box Marantz 1710 but one of the surround channels was dead so we're returning it.
We need something with several HDMI inputs for our HTPC plus several game systems. And since we also stream Netflix from our HTPC through the sound system, it needs to work with that. With the Marantz, we couldn't get the Netflix audio (Grace & Frankie) to sound good, it sounded too "fake". And streaming music doesn't sound "full" enough. Can anyone recommend a brand that has sound modes that will help with these audio requirements? Will need to pass through 4K. thank you |
