Anyone know whether this Italian release used the same badly reviewed print of the American release from several years ago?

Same master and basically same encoding, but I didn't notice any issues at all with it.

Perhaps a problem with the manufacturing of the Lionsgate disc as opposed to a problem with the transfer/master.

So would you recommend this Italian version as a purchase?

Sure, it's a fine release! I don't know if it's worth it now, tho, since I expect a brand-new 4K resto sometime soon...

Just finished watching the Italian Blu. Very pleased. Saw none of the issues experienced by the reviewer of the US disc.

Does the Italian blu-ray present the same extras as the American release? Looking at the review (https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/One-F.../56237/#Review) the American one has plenty of great extras whereas looking at the back cover of the Italian blu-ray (https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07...PNWYJU7H&psc=1) it seems like there might be none

Indeed. If I'm not mistaken, no supplements whatsoever. I kept the old DVD for that reason...
