Humankind is under attack by an alien lifeform that is secretly trying to undermine US democracy, bring down its government and harvest the DNA of its citizens.
And that alien… is you.

In 1959 Cryptosporidium-137 arrives on Earth in search for his predecessor clone, Cryptosporidium-136. Crypto-136 disappeared after Orthopox-13 sent him to Earth to prepare the large scale extraction of human DNA.

Pox sends Crypto on a mission to harvest human brain stems (which contain alien DNA due to an encounter between Furon warriors and humans in ancient times) to prevent the Furons from going extinct. Furon genitalia have withered away generations ago due to prolonged exposure to their own nuclear weaponry.

To accomplish his mission, he must battle US forces, infiltrate and sabotage secret government facilities and defeat Majestic, a shadowy government organization led by a black-clad figure named Silhouette.

The original ps4 remaster of the ps2 game, is now on sale at the digital ps USA store for 3.99 !!! I caved in and got it. If I like it,I will get the remake that will come out next year.

This was kind of an open map/world type of game, and this new one appears similar, being able to explore the terrain as you like.

That Destroy All Humans PS4 video with Rammstein's music was entertaining. I have to wonder if that video was marketed for the US and English speaking fans, considering the music is in German.

I have their first album actually, when it was on MTV back in the late 90's, Du Hast, was the song. The driving guitars and cool melody got me onboard to their style, though not all of their albums were as heavy. I see they have a new one out that I listened to briefly. I wonder what the connection was with the developers to include their music for this game about alien invasions?

I'm sooooo giving this a go when it comes out, I completed first two on PS2 and Path of the Furon on PS3 having a damn good time with all of them, although third one felt too rushed which I don't wonder after reading a good bit about production nightmare it ended up into.

Missed out on this back in the day. Kept playing too many other Xbox games. Then when the first 2 games came to PS4, I still didn't get them. But now I can say that I'm really looking forward to playing this dazzling remake.

The difference in graphics and detail from the PS2 to the PS4 is huge.

Destroy All Humans on PS4 is available July 28, 2020. $39.99 is very reasonable. They put a lot of work into the graphics.
