Have been meaning to start this thread for the Severin US Blu-ray release of eighties film Siege (aka Self Defense) as I couldn't find an existing North America discussion thread. Below is the Blu-ray.com listing page link:
![]() When it was announced by Severin, I didn't take much notice of it and kind of dismissed it. Then a few weeks ago, a fellow member brought the film up in the eighties slashers on Blu-ray thread. It hasn't had a Blu-ray release by Severin's UK branch, so the US release went on my want list (following reading the brief discussion in the aforementioned North America thread, and having subsequently checked out the film and Severin's release). It sounds a bit like the original Assault on Precinct 13. Not a lot of extras/bonus features on this release (it does include two cuts of the film though, alongside an audio commentary and trailer). On the rear sleeve artwork, the actor in the third screenshot from the left (the screenshot banner towards the bottom) I recognise from the first and third Police Academy films, Doug Lennox. |
