That is an excellent comedy special. I can honestly say I never would've expected to see this get a 4K disc.

I have to get this but really want his masterpiece performance where it felt like he could be the new Lenny Bruce. Richard Pryor: Live in concert would be such a gift for us Pryor fans. I finally bought the dvd of it last year.

Wow, never expected we’d see a Richard Pryor stand-up get the 4K treatment.

Would love to also see Raw and Delirious make their way to the format eventually as well.

Huge, huge news. Sony also has an insane music and concert film catalogue which would be glorious in 4K. Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Leonard Cohen, Sade,... Particularly the Hendrix concerts would be beyond beautiful in 4K as they were mostly filmed on 16mm. The video in 4K plus a nice audio upgrade together with the OG… that is something we can dream of until the Disney Vault cracks (or doesn’t). The music negatives and tracks should also be in much better condition than most theatrical films.
