Anyone ever buy a TV over EBAY before? - Blu-ray Forum

There is a 26" LG LCD on there right now with a starting bid of $299. One person has a bid in already. They seller has over 1,500 feedbacks and a 97.9% feedback rating. Has a $65.00 shipping fee too.

Just want to see if anyone has any experience in this?

I ordered my entire 7.1 Speakers and receiver worth about $1500, seperately on Ebay with no problems. You might wanna check about the warranty though as it might be void coming from an unnauthorized retailer.

To many risky factors involved with TV's. I would never buy on on ebay, of course that is just me.

I bought a 26" Sony Bravia "S" series for the bedroom on eBay about a year ago. That's a small enough box that shipping isn't a big deal. What I'd urge is that you preview any tv you buy at the local b&m before you bid. If you buy it and don't like the pq, you're screwed.

I bought my Denon receiver and my cell phone from ebay with no problems. Check the seller's review very carefully. Also, ebay offers extended warranty through "SquareTrade". The rates are much cheaper than the extended warranties from your local electronic stores.
