So i'm thinking of getting a 4K player now. There are, however, some things i'm wondering about. For starters, my first Blu-Ray player was bought off of Ebay and was Region Free. A few months after i got it i downloaded a software update and after that it was Region A/1 locked. Does this happen easily with 4K Blu-Ray players? Also, i really want to have a player that features CC decoding. Is that required on 4K players like it has been in the US on regular Blu-Ray players since January 1st 2014? If not, are there any that features it?
