Quote:
WE HAVE SUCH SIGHTS TO SHOW YOU…

In the 1980s, Clive Barker changed the face of horror fiction, throwing out the rules to expose new vistas of terror and beauty, expanding the horizons for every genre writer who followed him. With Hellraiser, his first feature film, he did the same for cinema.

Hedonist Frank Cotton (Sean Chapman) thinks he has reached the limits of earthly pleasure. But a mysterious puzzle box will take him further than he can possibly imagine, opening the doors to a dominion where pain and pleasure are indivisible and summoning the Cenobites, whose experiments in the higher reaches of experience will tear his soul apart. When he manages to escape, Frank returns to the world skinless and in need of help. Now his former lover Julia (Clare Higgins) must kill to make him whole again. But the Cenobites want Frank back, and there’ll be hell to pay when they find him.

Hellbound: Hellraiser II expands on Barker’s original vision as screenwriter Peter Atkins takes Julia Cotton, her step daughter Kirsty (Ashley Laurence) and the sinister Dr. Channard (Kenneth Cranham) into the dominion of the Cenobites themselves. Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth sees Pinhead set loose on the sinful streets of New York City to create chaos with a fresh cadre of Cenobitic kin. Then, Hellraiser: Bloodline sinks its hooks into past, present and future with the story of Phillip LeMarchand, the 18th-century toymaker who made the lament configuration puzzle box, his descendent John Merchant – a 20th-century architect whose most recent building bears a striking resemblance to the lament configuration – and Dr. Paul Merchant, a 22nd-century engineer and designer of The Minos, a space station which is a great deal more than it seems.

Experience the sublime agony of this quartet of torment like you never have before in all-new 4K restorations from the original camera negatives. Hell has never looked better!

I don't have any of these on physical media but always liked these first four (not the ones after and haven't seen that new one).Since I'm a blu Ray user and am not region free, I couldn't go for the U.K. release even if I wanted to import.

Question. How much does anybody think this set will approximately cost from Amazon?

They should have used the standard set with the individual cases for the US release.

Pre-order is now up at Arrow, who do ship to Canada. But you can also buy it directly from Canada through Unobstructed View

No.

Glad Arrow is giving those who missed out on the UK release to get the limited edition set in North America.

This is a premium set. The flimsy cardboard and Viva Elite cases will most likely come later once this sells out.

Great news. I was just thinking about grabbing the first 2 movies during the next Barnes and Noble sale but I'll get this set instead. I'm not a huge fan of Hell on Esrth or Bloodlines but I'm enticed by their alternate cuts and a 200(!) page book seals the deal.

Never had these on physical media before definitely preordering this. I’ve only seen the first one so I’m really looking forward to this.

I got the (generally now seen as terrible thanks to grain on 1 and framing on 3) first, expensive, UK-only blu-ray box from Arrow. I spent so much money on it I've felt like I can't buy any subsequent editions. They need to release a really cheap version of this with no fancy packaging.

Definitely very tempting to get this. I already got the standalone Arrow releases of Hellraiser and Hellbound about a year or so ago, and all the remaining sequels I only have on DVD. I dug Hell on Earth and Bloodlines a lot when I first watched them, so it would be cool to have those original theatrical films together in such a nice box.

This will include all the bonus features from the UK box, right? They're not listed in the description, but I would hope so.

Picked up the UK Tetrology UHD and since I wanted region A BDs, I picked up the first two on that (3 and 4 were only released in UK). Guess I shouldn't have bought those two. Guess I'll wait for a US Tetrology BD set.

I trying to decide if I need this set, or if I'll just be cheap and get the regular UK 4K set from Orbit. The limited package is awesome, but the other set is like $30 cheaper. I know there's also a book, but I don't think I've ever actually read any books or booklets included in any movie set. Is there anything else included in the limited that's not in the regular UK set?
