View Poll Results: Will they go blu or will be pigs and force HD downloads on you?
Yes, they will go blu first as that is what the consumer wants right now. 0 0%
No, as M$ won't listen to the consumer and cos it comes from a competing console company. 6 100.00%

Default Do you think that Micro$oft will go blu first or stick to HD downloads only?

I just thought that when M$ abandons HD DVD, do you think that they will give into the blu crew by putting a BD drive onto the 360 or just stick to HD downloads because they believe that its the future and that the company who lets them licence it is a competing console maker? Vote now.

I think MS wants XBL Video marketplace to be it's main distribution for HD video and always had.

With HD-DVD they had HDi interest but with BD it's Java so they don't get royalties. I was always under the impression the only reason MS supported HD-DVD was to keep the war going untill net speeds and consumer frustration on HD packaged media caught up enough so their own service seemed like a better alternative.

They've been building studio support on their own marketplace for awhile and are going to roll it out to the PC users which would give them a larger base. So supporting BD doesn't seem likely to me from MS.
