About damn time. I know this has been available on HD DVD, and on Blu-ray overseas for quite sometime (including a region A disc in Japan), but glad to finally see local release. It's a very interesting movie that covers a dark true story in Hollywood, and it's a must watch for die hard DC Comics fans. Interesting that Ben Afleck and Diane Lane later went on to co-star in Batman vs. Superman and Justice League.

Affleck leads a superb cast, and the film is a worthy pickup for his performance alone.

On one of the late night talk shows they had the whole cast and showed a clip from Hollywoodland with Affleck and Lane making out and then turned the camera on Cavill and asked him what he thought of Batman making out with his mom. It was pretty funny.

True that. However, I still have over 60 titles on that format. Their Blu counterparts don't feature a drastic upgrade in video or audio so I just haven't seen the need to switch them over since my player still runs fine. That being said, I don't own this one on HD-DVD so I will definitely be grabbing the KL version. This is great news indeed!

I’ve got the dvd: fascinating story/flick. Great extras. Worth a blind buy for those of you who want a great ride, depending on price.

Still haven't seen this one. It would've been nice if Universal could've just dumped their remaining outstanding hd dvd holdovers.

If you have never seen this film, I would give this a shot. It's . truly a pretty fantastic film.
