1960 version. The 1998 was just as shot for shot remake, except for the masturbation scene.

The 1960 film is a classic, of course. But I do find the '98 version perfectly watchable despite its flaws. I figure, why not both (or all of them, I've grown to enjoy the sequels too)?

Why is this even a question?! The 1998 version is an abomination whereas the original is one of the absolute best films of all time.
