So originally I had planned to use a projector to screen outdoor movies this summer. With the virus ramping up I wanted to be able to have the best of both worlds. I built PVC pipe for a holder and ordered a screen. Originally I had gone with a cheaper projector because for outdoor purposes why not? It was still Full HD with 4K support. I eventually returned it and went with a full 4k projector with HDR support. I did try out two movies outdoors one being The Catcher Was A Spy and Top Gun. I had a soundboard from Yamaha project the sound as I didn't want any noise complaints. I eventually may return outside if I can figure out a better way to project sound because I returned the soundbar. It just didn't cut it for me. Thought I would share some of the pictures here anyway for fun!
![]() ![]() One of the reasons I also had issues with this projector was getting the screen straight. The ground is not level and the cheap projector couldn't adjust well so one of the reasons I returned it and went with the better model. Really glad I bought a model with a 7 day trial policy. Anyway there is the pictures. Highly recommend PVC pipe to save money on a screen holder. Use bungee cords to wrap it around and put bricks to hold down from wind or use sand bags.
