Question Zorro Original 1957 Series

Did anyone like this series? I loved it about 10 years or so ago.
It was adventurous, funny... and it looked so genuine.

But anyway, I think it would be great on BD.
According to WikipediA it has never been fully released on DVD.
However, it is mentioned that it will be fully released this November.
Hm, makes me wonder, would there also be a BD in the works?

I'm not sure what the case was with the color of the series.
To me it looked like in the beginning it was black&white, later on color, and I mean originally.
And that there were also colorized versions of the black&white-ones from the beginning later on.
Unless it was all black&white from 1957 to 1959.

However, wouldn't it be great, if the case was all originals b&w and later colored in,
if they'd release the BDs with the ability to "turn the color on and off".
That would be so awesome, and everybody would be happy.
Personally, I like to see them as they were, but I really like them colored.
It looked great and it was so much more lively.

So I hope they still have the originals or something good somewhere.
If nothing has changed with licensing and stuff, it should still be Disney's.
Who knows?
