In today's Los Angeles Sunday Times, the back side of the Ken Cranes pull out advertises 50% off on the HD-A3 and HD-A30, each with $225 in Free HD DVDs.

It's time to remove unwanted inventory.

I think everyone's selling the Toshiba players at 50% off, and the $225 in free DVD's could very well be 2 in the box, and 5 free by mail, if they figure list price on the DVD's. In other words, . . the same deal everyone else is offering.

nothing really new as far as the movies... ~10-11 movies @ $20. Just the wording makes it sound better...

I think it is just the 2 free in the box and the 5 free mail-in offer. That's 7 movies and at MSRP of $30 - $35 will total $225.
