I've never even heard of this series, I'll have to check it out, but I'm glad more DC animation is getting put on Blu-ray. Though I'm still waiting for Warner Archive to put the Harley Quinn animated series on Blu-ray.

Something tells me that the show won’t last beyond season 2 and they’ll be giving us a “complete series” set later this year. 😞

I don’t know about not going beyond Season 2 but I had the same thought that they’ll put both seasons out on Blu while doing singles on DVD.

That didn't seem to work out for The Zeta Project, Justice League Action and Krypto The Superdog.

Batman The Animated Series isn't even complete, it's missing episodes from The Batman / Superman Adventures just like the Plastic Man "Complete Collection" is missing the Baby Plas and Plastic Family episodes.

While there is nothing officially putting these shows in the same canon, but I've long seen Legion of Superheroes as a sort of sister series to The Batman from 2004. Both were on the Kids WB is the same era.

Legion is in the BTAS continuity, The Batman is its own little island of garbage, much like Static Shock was until WB execs forced it to be considered part of the DC Animation continuity.

Hey! I wrote an episode of this! This will be the only TV I’ve written I’ll have in proper HD on disc.

I don't remember Superboy looking like that in the cartoon. Was this cover art from the later episodes? Am I being spoiled?

They'll give that the BTAS/Beyond treatment.

Good to see this series finally getting a complete home video release after years of being one of the few recent-ish DC animated series that was never released on DVD in its entirety. I don't know if that was as a result of the problems surrounding the Superboy lawsuit, but in any case it's good to see that season 2 will at last be hitting disc.

I still hope a complete series widescreen release of The Batman, plus The Batman vs. Dracula movie will also be released by Warner Archive at some point.

Warner continue their streak of putting Disney to shame when in comes to their comicbook-based animated series being released on physical media.

I guarantee that they would have announced Superman at Comic-Con had it happened this year. I bet it releases in the fall.

They only did 2 volumes and they initially said they were doing 65 episodes. I don’t believe they’re all out on those 2 DVD’s. There are definitely shorts that are not, like that all Mark Hamill episode.

There was only 52 episodes. Each volume had 26 episodes. The series is fully collected, but the shorts are not.
