List of UHDs That Contain Dimmer Subtitles - Blu-ray Forum

I thought it would be helpful to form a list of all US and UK 4K UHD releases that have not-so- bright subtitles. The only one that I have so far, I think, is Glory. Help is welcome and appreciated. Work in progress...

What is the point? With the Panny you can dim subtitles as much as you want.

First off, not everyone has the "panny"

More information in general about subtitles would be nice. I don't know why subs are not a part of the reviews even for foreign language movies. I still haven't found out if Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon in 4K has the subs in the picture or over the letterbox.

Since the discussion is subjective, it might help for you to provide examples of subtitles that are "too bright" for comparison's sake. Maybe a grading scale of examples.
