Some of the shows were excellent like the one with the war plane going down and the guy trapped underneath. It had Kevin Costner and many other great actors. A lot of good shows and some aren't so good. The good outweighs the bad though IMO. I have the first season on DVD but they still haven't released the second season. Do you think it is possible they would ever release this on Blu Ray and would anyone else love to own both seasons?

I've looked into picking this up on DVD because I like anthology shows, but have never really been able to commit to one of the import options.

Italy has Season 2 across two sets, with total cost from Amazon.it being 23.95 euro or $32.98, shipped to US.

I really enjoyed the Amazing Stories sci-fi/fantasy anthology series when it was on back in the late '80's, though didn't see every episode at the time. Much later, I did watch the 1st season on DVD, and it was great to revisit the show after so many years.

I am disappointed that S02 has still never hit DVD, so would definitely be all-for a Blu-ray set of both seasons (or individual seasons). Blu may be our only chance of getting S02 of the show on physical media. I don't remember ever even seeing S02 when it was on TV, so would especially be interested in seeing this.

I really liked the Tim Robbins one and the one with The Mummy trying to get to the hospital to see his newborn.

Only seen the first season and the dvds were not bad pq looked decent like it was edited on film.

This is a holy grail release for me. Spielberg created a magical show.

Spielberg's two episodes are great (even the less talked about Ghost Train). Same goes for Eastwood's episode - Vanessa in the Garden.
I also think Mark Hamill gave his best non-Star Wars performance in the episode Gather Ye Acorns.

Needs to be restored and released.

I totally agree that this was a magical show. I absolutely loved this show when I was a kid. Never missed an episode. I have the DVD set of it but I doubt it will ever get released on Blu-ray. I feel like it’s become a forgotten show.

You can either get both seasons or just season 2 on DVD on Amazon US. With prime shipping too. Its tbe Australian release and is region free. Plays fine on my US player with no changes. Decent pq too.
