This series of artwork isn't good enough to be worth the effort of making an entire line of Steelbooks out of it.

Slipcovers or placards -- fine, whatever. But Steelbooks? Really?

I think the movie and the steel fit well together.

The movie was one of the worst I've seen at the time

Looks like an intern had about 20 minutes to play around in Photoshop.

Not impressed. It pales in comparison to the original steelbook design.

True, but if the artwork is so bad the target market looks at it & goes "Ewww" instead of "Take my money"...

And as a fan of both the novel & the movie... Ewww.

Not that i like this steelbook but i'm more surprised people didn't already know how this would look. Guess some people missed Mifunefans post on the first steelbook so heres a repost so you know what all of em are gonna look like.

I admit The Matrix one is kinda cool, but these are still more suited for slipcovers than Steelbooks.

Surprised their internal metrics told them to roll these out.

Fantastic film, but awful steelbook. Glad I have the French steel from a few years back!

I vote we consolidate these steels into one big Sci-fi Destination Wave thread so I can just ignore the one instead of 17 of them

@Neoz?
