It looks like THQ Nordic is doing another remaster of one of my favorite PS3 games.
Set to release on 18 Aug 2020 for $39.99. Collectors edition as seen below will be $109.99 but it's only listed for XBO at this time. Screenshots |

NO. F'IN. WAY! I've just done a quick Google and this is real
![]() I absolutely loved this game. I even got the Platinum and 100% both DLC's. Such a shame what happened to 38 Studios. They had such ambition for the future of the game. They were working on a MMO called Project Copernicus. You can still check it out on YouTube: |

I'm happy to see the positive comments. I was a big fan of the original so I'll be picking this one up for sure. The combat was awesome. My last run through was with the dual chakrams. They were fast and tore threw everything.

Blu-ray Grand Duke

![]() I think I remember reading about this game. It was being hyped up in magazines, but when it finally released, was met with not much fanfare. This was a PS3 game if I'm not mistaken. I liked the colorful artwork back then, but it wasn't enough to get me to buy it. August 18, 2020 for $39.99 sounds good. |

Bit of a game update. I'm around 8 hours in and I honestly forgot how big this game was. I've barely made a dent on the map so far. I'm currently playing on hard and haven't really had any major issues. If you've played the game before you know what you're getting into. Not much has changed. For me that's not a bad thing because I enjoyed my original playthrough on the PS3.
Random notes: 1. Some of the combat mechanics haven't age well. This is evident in a large group of enemies. When your attacking a group, rolling, dodging or evading just isn't a fluid as it is in more current games. I often take a random hit because I was in the middle of combat and couldn't get out of the combo animation quick enough. 2. Camera view. Sometimes it gets wonky. Especially when you're attacking a group of enemies. You'll kill an enemy and still be looking at their dead body while enemies are about to hit you from behind. 3. Visuals. They have been updated (polished) but don't expect anything that looks like Ghost of Tushima or The Last of Us 2. It looks better than the PS3 copy but not by much. I haven't seen any random pop and its been smooth, so far. 4. Load times. They are long. Especially since I recently finished up Ghost of Tushima. I'm talking up to 30 seconds sometimes to enter a building. 5. Combat is still a lot of fun. The different weapons all have a different feel to them. I'm currently running daggers and bow/long sword. It's a lot of fun to just bash things. Even with a few flaws I'm completly happy with my $33 purchase so far. This will definitely take me up to the release of Cyberpunk. |
