SUMMARY version: Affable in appearance, Boris Zaroff is a fairly tormented businessman, heir to a line of decadent aristocrats. Zaroff lives in the ancestral domain with his faithful butler, Karl. Bound by a pact, the servant plays the touts for his master, bringing magnificent young women back to the castle.These will soon be the victims of Zaroff's sadistic impulses, plagued by terrible visions in which he sees himself tormented by the ghost of a woman who was once his father's mistress. ABOUT THE FILM : Emblematic actor of Jesús Franco and José Bénazéraf, Michel Lemoine began his career in author cinema before branching out into eroticism in the early 1970s. The Evil Weekends of Count Zaroff , his only horror film, was banned on release by the Censorship Commission, and would only be visible a few years later through the video.An incredible and daring diversion of the Ernest B. Although, yesterday they said that Bayan Ko would be released at the of the year if they hold out, so a June release seems improbable.

I ordered all three UHD BDs (I know only this one has English subtitles, but I couldn't care less), a Gwendoline Pin () and what look like two photo books from the filming of Seven Women for Satan and Sins of the Flesh, if I'm translating correctly. Super-psyched!

I ordered from them over a year ago, but I genuinely don't remember. However, my shipping charge for 6 items (3 UHD combos, two photo books and the pin) along with a free DVD that I don't really want is €23,00 from Colissimo, supposedly with tracking, so it better be good!

EDIT: My last order from them was for the UHD BD of The Blood Rose, which shipped with La Poste, sans tracking, for €8,00. I don't recall it being in bad shape, but then I only ordered the one item that time, whereas this new order is much larger.

I ordered The Blood Rose direct from them as well and it arrived in pristine condition. If I recall correctly, it was sent in a rigid cardboard package (not quite a box, but close).

Wow, this UHD shipped from France on August 1st and I recieved it today, pretty funny considering I have multiple domestic packages stuck out there in transit for over a month.

Looking forward to taking this for a spin this weekend.

It arrived packaged very well in a hard cardboard box.

Woke up at 2am this morning and couldn't go back to sleep so I went out and put this movie on....wow! I'd never seen it before and for me it hit all the right notes in what I love in a movie. The opening scene and the one right after with the main character picking up the hitchhiker , those 2 scenes alone are worth the price of admission.

All of the females in the cast were super hot, my favorite was the one in the beginning that has champagne drank off of her naked body.

Onto the PQ, it looked very good for sure but imo The Blood Rose was much more impressive in UHD, this one looked like a Blu Ray to me, maybe slightly better than a Blu Ray, probably source related, certain shots stood out as looking a lot better than the overall experience.

Definitely a keeper, movie is batshit crazy, sleezy, violent, sadistic, funny, has great locations and characters, got to love it.

Almost forgot to mention, the soundtrack is amazing.
