Lots of Final Fantasy coming to Xbox. - Blu-ray Forum

All of the ports announced in the Nintendo Direct are coming to Xbox as well according to Mike Ybarra.

That includes 15 Pocket Edition HD, 7, 9, 10, 10-2, World of Final Fantasy Maxima and FF 12 Zodiac Age.

I'm more of a PlayStation guy, but I'm so happy they're doing this so more people will get to experience these games.

Here's hoping VIII will come eventually (to all platforms). Would also be nice if they could go back to I-VI and port those as well.

I play on Xbox so I am really excited for it. I want to play this World of Final Fantasy Maxima game, it's great. My friends play this game. I watched the demo of this game it's so good. I am soon going to get this game, I usually buy my games and subscriptions from this website here. Hope this game is available over there.

Well, I'll be rebuying 7,9, 10 hd collection, and 12. Still wish they'd release the pc port of FFVIII though especially since it's my favorite in the series.

This is great and all, but without VIII it’s like releasing all the CoD games but leaving CoD4 on the sidelines....

It sure was a piece of history. But anyone looking to play Final Fantasy 1 today would do well to play one of the enhanced ports.

I remember being with my friend when he picked it up new. When I finally got around to it on NES I played that game for months on end.

Wasn’t it free if you bought Nintendo Power or something like that? I had a SMS as a kid so my first game in the series was FF2 (FF4) on SNES, I really enjoyed it.

No, the first game did however get massive coverage in one of NP’s issues leading up to the game’s release.

Dragon Warrior was the one they gave for free with NP subs.

Been running through FF12 since it came out on GP. This will be my 3rd time beating it, about half way through. Love this game.!
