Thursday Blu-ray Review

I've never seen this film, but I think it's up my street. It's currently $9.99 during Kino's Winter Wonderland sale, so I placed a second order with it.

By the way, Paulina Porizkova recently posed for Vogue Czechoslovakia in May 2021 and...let's just say that Vogue Vogue Czechoslovakia has better covers than Vogue US. The cover is NSFW.

Oh well, I hoped it's a remaster... Always enjoyed rewatching this little gem.

Nah, looks to be the same transfer used on the old European releases. So the same transfer released on German blu-ray back in 2013 and in the UK in 2017. Looks like they just turned the gamma down a notch and called it a day. That's the only difference I could see. Colors and the rest are identical.

I have the German disc but somehow never heard of this US release. Think I'll have to grab it for the new features and screen text being in English (they are German of course, but it's just days so easy to figure out).

Always loved this film, now where is Love & .45 to complete my little known, overlooked 90's gem collection?

Remember catching this on TV as a kid, being stunned by the rape scene, and switching it off before anybody walked in. Always been meaning to give it a full watch.

Never seen this but hear it's similar in feel to 2 Days In The Valley, which is one of my favorite movies of all time.
