Yuck the blue doesn't look right at all and being a barely modified PS4 case is boring. They need to make the case clear, white (My preference) or black.

It looks like the cases are the same as PS4. While the aesthetics are fine, that probably means they'll continue to use cases with spindles that don't hold the disc well. I can't count the number of PS4 games that have arrived in the mail with the disc loose in the case.

Yeah, I like it too. It's keeping with the familiar but implementing the new black, white, and blue motif from the hardware.

I’m find with continuing with the blue cases, but the white banner is kind of ugly

It matches the b&w hardware though. I think it makes sense.

I think they’d work better with clear or white cases, it looks a tad jarring with blue but I suppose they’re supposed to mix with the PS4 cases.

PS3 was clear, PS4 is blue, PS5 should be something different to communicate "generations"

I think smoke/transparent black would be cool, or white to match the console. Then again Wii was white so that might seem backwards...

This just reinforces what I said the other day. The whole talk of this being an actual "console war" is cute and all but the reality is PS5 is going to absolutely lay the smackdown on XSX in terms of actual consoles sold.

I shouldn't really have an opinion given I'm likely to go for the digital version of the console, but I'd prefer a black or white box; but there's clearly a glut of blue boxes out there!!

I'd rather they went with black to match 4K video releases, or clear. Not a fan at all of the blu cases, but i guess as monsieur la perdrix said, they must be a glut of the blue cases out there.
