Consider 2nd hand, I've bought my electric recliners from Facebook and other than the glass holders that don't look too good because the chrome went bad. The leather is in great condition and I've paid at the very least 5-7 times less than new ones. It did take some time to find the right ones but it worked for me.

While I realize there are some upscale theaters that advertise recliner seating, the vast majority don't. Most are just more comfortable but still crowded versions of what they've always been, nothing like the HT recliners being asked about. This is a far cry from trying to duplicate public cinema seating in the home. I've had four connected HT recliners for 20 years. When I've had guest over, the only thing I noticed is that some still don't like sharing an arm rest. In my new theater room that I'm currently in the process of building I decided to go with three unconnected HT recliners so that everyone has complete control over their arm rests. This time I got power recliners to make it easier to find just the right position. So, what do you use? |

I'm poor, so I used a 150 dollar living room chair that wasn't very comfortable. Past tense because I have not had my entertainment center for a year. |

I hate the seating within a standard public theater. It's tight, not that comfortable, it does not recline and has thin little arms. I personally see no similarities at all to what I sit in when I watch a movie or listen to multi-channel music. You might as well say all chairs are aesthetically the same. But, to each their own. I agree last thing I want is my home theater like a public cinema , in my home theater i use a large couch that I can lay down or stretch out if I want . And I could never understand the second row seating , you re just to far away unless the screen is enormous |

It's funny how many home theaters with this type of seating have pretty small projection screens.

I started trying to make my man cave a few years ago. Never had the chance to until now. So I struggled on this step for a while but since it's not a huge room I ended up getting the Valencia black leather couch. Mostly so people could stretch out in one area rather than a secluded seat. My wife actually loves it. You may prefer the seats but if anything I can speak to my positive experience with Valencia.

I bought my theater seating off two friends who made large orders from 4seating and had good results. One friend had a minor issue and they sent him 2 full seat replacements. They used to have bad customer service and extremely slow shipping times, but it seems they really turned things around a few years ago
