Release date: June 6th
Theatrical Trailer (1:32) 1.85:1 1080p AVC MPEG-4 English DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Stereo Annoyingly no subtitles even though their recent DVD port did have them. Gave a check disc a spun already. Definitely a dated off-the-shelf master. Quite a bit of edge enhancement, blacks nowhere near deep enough, very light damage at times by way of specks and a couple of wee scratches (especially external stock footage shots). Decent levels of grain but details are sometimes lacking. Certainly the best I have seen the film look and an obvious improvement on the DVD (which looked a bit crap too for the format), but a lot of room for improvement. Probably a generous 3/5 for me in all honesty and some might think I am being generous. Last edited by samdvd1; 05-25-2016 at 06:28 PM. Reason: words innit |
