A couple days after first signing up to Prime Video in Ireland the available content changed and while on Amazon customer support I realised it was because I had opened the Prime app while the AppleTV was signed into a U.K.
I know that while this was happening I could still watch some content but I didn’t have time to check if it would allow me to watch something that was available in the U.K. but not Ireland because support rest something or other. Browsing Apple’s TV app I see there are a lot of old TV westerns on the US Prime that would like to watch. Does anyone know if I can watch this US content simply by being signed in to AppleTV with a US account? I watch Vikings on Prime and the last episode I watched was Season 4 Ep 10 - when I look up Vikings on the TV app under a US account it brings up that the next episode to watch as 11 - not season 1 episode 1 So is that just because Vikings is available in both the US and Ireland? What happens if I try to watch something that isn’t available on Prime Ireland? I’m not at home to test and would just like to know if content simply gets blocked. |
