A puzzle setter impersonates his police detective twin brother when the latter goes missing. David Mitchell is perfect for the role and the entire supporting cast is first rate. Highly enjoyable Jonathan Creek type mysteries, the BBC has a winner here.

Have been reading some positive comments about Ludwig, possibly enough to make me want to try the first couple of episodes.
I did watch Jonathan Creek from it's early days, but didn't watch the last few TV specials. |

We finished this at the weekend. The series starts off relatively strong, and just gets better as it goes along. The latter half of the series in particular is very good, and the final episode is brilliant. Mrs Spectre and I concluded that this is probably the best new British show since Line of Duty.
Very pleased to see that the BBC have already commissioned a second season ![]() |
