Default Panasonic OLED finally hits North America - CES 2018 announcements

Was in my car yesterday listening to the radio which is unusual (had just cleaned it out and forgot to bring a CD back in) and a commercial came on that pique my interest immediately, something along the lines of, "back in 2013 Panasonic decided to end production of their plasma televisions, and I was so disppointed because they were great" (superlatives, yadda yadda) "well now I have no more need to worry, because Panasonic are introducing an even better television set right now, the Panasonic OLED! You can be the first to see one this week-end at Bay Bloor Radio"

Odd that neither Panasonic website has the products listed, but sure as heck they are now being made available in Toronto at Bay Bloor Radio. Can't wait to see what sort of employee pricing I can get on these when they show up on Panasonic Canada's website.

Looks like they have the 65" TC-65EZ1000C for CDN$6000 (list is CDN$8000) - https://baybloorradio.com/panasonic/...-ultra-hd-oled

EDIT - they are now on Panasonic's Canada site - http://www.panasonic.com/ca/consumer...rtainment.html

Wonder when they'll hit the US market?

Panasonic Canada lists the new TC-77EZ1000C for $25k - http://www.panasonic.com/ca/consumer...-77ez1000.html
