That's rude... wishing a disaster on someone just because they didn't put in a 4K disc??

It’s like Ash vs. Evil Dead if Ash were black and the Evil Dead were racist.

Prepare for: multiple time travels, travel between multiverses, and shoggoths!

LMAO, I know. I was asking if there was a third show like that.

P.s: THE Evil Dead, it's one entity. The Kandarian Demon.

This show was kind of a mess, all over the place narratively. I stuck with it out of obligation, see how it ended.
The one thing I will give props for were the demon twins were the creepiest horror characters in a long time and they also made it work in daylight scenes, which a lot of horror doesn't even attempt because it's so hard to pull off.

i was hoping a gothic themed steelbook, but if that's what they're sticking with over at the bestbuy site, i'll just get a regular edition.

I dig both covers. I'm not sure which one I'm going to get.

For me, this isn't like Watchmen. The standard was miles better than the steelbook, but for LC here, I did love those comic book covers.

Show was so aggravating. First episode was great. The second was one of the worst I've ever seen and from there it goes back and forth between average and terrible. I made it to the seventh or eighth before giving up.

lol yea i will pass on this even if i thought the steel was one of the best ive ever seen. one of my problems when starting a show is i usually finish it. especially if its on a premium channel/streaming site since i know its not gonna likely go 20+ like an NBC show. this & Watchmen were disappointing tbh.

Interesting bit from the recent blu-ray review: While the IMDb discloses a 4K DI, it doesn't list a camera, but your intrepid reviewer found this really interesting interview with cinematographer Michael Watson, where he discloses that after shooting the pilot with Arri Alexas, he moved on to the Sony Venice, shooting 60 fps at a native 6K resolution.

So shot at 6K, finished at a 4K DI, but no UHD blu-ray release? Seems like a waste of resources to shoot with these cameras if the highest resolution we'll be able to watch this at is 1080p.

Is the rear cover upside down or the back of a PET slip that can be turned to the front? Because the spine looks the same both ways in the mock-up...

Anyway, mine just shipped.

It kind of looks like it comes with a clear slip (like the resent Halloween, Evil Dead, Dredd SteelBooks) ...but I could be wrong.

IIRC, those clear slips have only been a Lionsgate thing.

By the way, has anyone received any shipping notification? On the site, the regular version has a release date of this Tuesday, but the steelbook doesn't have a date at all.

Wonder Woman 4k had one.
Mill Creek SteelBooks have them too.

I was just curious. I pre-ordered the steelbook right when it launched and it always read "to be announced " on the release date.

Oh, okay. I didn't know. I didn't get any of those.
