I'm skeptical whether the existing negative has enough information left to notice any difference between 1080p and 4k resolution. If so, then it must have been well preserved.

This is for the recent movie of the same name, not the original. Though it would be nice to have both for historical/archival purposes.

Yes it was very good, of course the subject matter might not be for all but it was very well made. Some stunning cinematography.

Brooklyn came out on Blu-ray in mid-March which was right when the UHD format was launching. It was a victim of bad timing unfortunately.

Right, because obviously everyone that doesn't like this film is automatically a racist.

For the record, the original is in the National Film Registry and is considered a treasure, so it is perfectly logical that someone could prefer the original film, to this film, regardless of the offensive stereotypes contained in the Griffith film.
