I have a feeling that if you've seen Taken or even Morel's previous film, The Gunman, you've pretty much seen this.

True. I wouldn't mind seeing Garner kick ass, but it has to be coherent.

If the action blows, at least we have Upgrade, The Equalizer 2, Deadpool 2 and Mission Impossible: Fallout.

Looks like Death Wish, Sicario and Taken rolled into one movie.
Having that said, it doesn't look half bad. It's something I would check out when it hits the theaters.

DW: Revenge for family members' death, the world hails character as a hero, as he trends on social media.

Sicario: Drug cartel (Mexican)

Taken: Revenge, yet again.

I though of DW, couldn't remember the movie until you brought it up.

So Death Wish with Bruce Willis was just a warm up.
This is the real deal from the director of Taken. This better not be PG-13

Real deal? Ain't no way.

PG-13 is pretty much a lock at this point since all of the Taken movies were cut and trimmed to get the PG-13 and then release the uncut Blu-Rays after. I would be surprised if this actually gets an R.

The Taken trilogy was made by Luc Besson’s company.
This is not.

Lakeshore Entertainment did all the Underworld movies, both Cranks, Lincoln Laywer, Gamer, Midnight Meat Train etc...

If they make a revenge movie against a cartel with a PG-13 in mind they all should be shot
