Default Advice sought: Looking to replace my Vizio P65-C1

Hi,

I have a buyer for my 2016 Vizio P65-C1 swinging by Sunday morning to complete the sale. That set has served me well for nearly five years, but it's time for new toys! I want to pick up a replacement locally on Sunday, so that limits my options. Originally, I had my eye on a 75" Vizio P-Series Quantum X, but there are none to be found in my area, unfortunately.

That has left me scrambling for alternatives, and I have narrowed the field to four contenders:

- 65" LG CX OLED
- 65" Sony A8H OLED
- 65" Vizio OLED
- 75" Vizio P-Series Quantum (non-X)

Some parameters I'm considering: I'm an avid dark-room movie watcher but not much for gaming. I favor PQ over most other considerations, but I also don't want to limit myself for future options involving HDMI 2.1. What say you, internet?

Thanks!

The best PQ is Sony
Best Gaming- LG-CX.

Probably you should go with LG CX since you want to leave your options open for 2.1 and gaming. The LG kind of give you both of what you want.

Great advice! Thanks! I went with the 65" LG CX, and it is a beauty! Came SO close to getting a 77" except it wouldn't fit in the back of my SUV, and I didn't want to wait for delivery.
