Hey there, everyone! Look what arrived here today at The Kitty Cat Condo™ courtesy of Deep Discount via the USPS! I haven't seen this film in several years, but I do remember that it was most enjoyable and a whole lot of fun to watch. I just love that wonderful Diana Rigg!

Got my copy yesterday. Very excited... until I saw the very blah transfer, which looks exactly like the iTunes copy I bought last Christmas. It's a very old transfer, which I guess I should have expected, but it's disappointing nonetheless. Happy that the Harry Palmer films look great, however.

Yeah I gave it a quick scan yesterday and it's probably the HD master used for the DVD in 2004. Better than nothing I guess, given it's patchy home video releases.

That’s disappointing. Mine arrived today. Agree on the Palmer films though, a decent upgrade over the separate releases including Ipcress, which beats the Network version.

Disappointing on both fronts, movie and transfer, but it wasnt terrible and diana rigg looks wonderful and very young. the movie itself take it or leave it, thought it was very average but theres a lot of pretty locations and decent actors.

Overall not the usual Imprint high standard, but like I said, dont regret buying it.

Frankly, this movie has never looked very good; a complete restoration is needed.

their releases tend to be very good in my experience. I know they dont do their remastering, they reuse previous transfers but they tend to be decent to good, and their extras are excellent, and so is their packaging.

I have them in high regard.

I ordered from deep discount not having seen it. but for $11, Diana Rigg, Oliver Reed, and Telly Savalas... yeah. had to do it.
