I plan on getting my first 4K player (as I bought a cheap entry level 4K TV). I already have a few 4K movie steelbooks, just nothing to play them on.
I will be getting a PS5 for sure (i play lots of games) as it will read 4K discs too, which is perfect for my movie marathons - I am first and foremost a huge movie fan. However, don't know when I will be able to get the console, so think of whether I should buy an entry level 4K player first (to satisfy my itch, so to speak). Should I wait until I can grab a PS5 or get a 4K player first (I will get the PS5 anyway when it's released). Also, all entry level cheap 4K players support either HDR10 or Dolby Vision. Which one should I lean more towards and will both read my movie 4K discs? Many thanks and sorry for the questions - my knowledge is limited. Last edited by venom0706; 12-24-2020 at 06:32 PM. |
