That was such an abrupt ending. Didn't even feel like a finale outside the whole "being 10 years later" thing. I was thinking she was going to kill herself at the end or something.

An incredibly honest and dramatic story about a sexual relationship between a teacher and her student and the fallout from the relationship that openly fails to be honest when it comes to the conclusion of their story. *Bluntly, the mini series, which should’ve been a film based on the way I was edited, coped out when the truth of their story was right there for all to see. I understand wanting to be responsible when it comes to this touchy subject but that’s not being honest when it comes to the truth of the performances you witness over ten episodes.

This thing was headed in a controversial, yet truthful conclusion and for some reason, the creatives just couldn’t bring themselves to do it. *Understandable I guess but sadly disappointing.*

Nevertheless, I enjoyed the story and the performances more than the final outcome.*

they really did a crap job of getting the point across that he was really that abused & a victim. came off more like he was just devastated she let the cat out of the bag more than anything.
