Beyoncé Blu-ray

Beyoncé released a surprise album, titled Beyoncé and described as a "visual album" at Dec. 13 2013. This is Beyoncé’s first new album since 2011’s 4 and could mark a huge change in how new music is released and sold.

'Beyoncé': A Visual Album Of 14 Songs, 17 Videos

What is most original about the album is the “visual” aspect: the album does not just include the songs. Each track is accompanied by a brand new video, each filmed in locations all around the world, and there are a three songs only featured in video, not audio, such as “Grown Woman.”

The album was released without any pre-promotion – no single, music video, or even rumors of an upcoming album release. »

And now on March 18th 2014 it's available on Blu-Ray format

It is hard to find in stores most Best Buys aren't stocking the CD+BLU but I found a copy at a Barnes and Noble. And I had to peel their price sticker back some to
Verify it stated CD+BLU.

If u want to check Barnes Stock use this listing (release 3/18/14) as opposed to the DVD edition from 12/13

The blu-ray edition was worth every penny. The videos looked fantastic in HD and the songs sound great in PCM.

I agree, the audio on this BLU and the video quality was worth every cent. I honestly never thought it would get a BLU release. I own the iTunes version but wanted a BLU with HD audio. As someone already pointed out, FLAWLESS!

I wouldn't mind picking this up, tho for much cheaper price. I purchased the album as soon as it went to iTunes back in December. It ended up being my favorite album of the year, and those videos are something. Outstanding, and very, very, very hot.

I picked this up from Barnes and Noble last night and I concur, FLAWLESS. lol. The PCM audio is worth the price alone.

I would love to buy this, but I'm not a huge fan of this album. There's only two songs I can listen to without skipping to the next. Now if this was a Blu-ray release of every music video she's made re-mastered in HD, I wouldn't have a second thought.

Watched this a couple of days ago... reference quality disc IMO. It looks and sounds absolutely stunning and I think I just watched it in stereo (whatever the default option is, I forgot to change the settings before I started it). I do have to say that after watching this that Beyonce is pretty ****ed up in the head. Ghost and Haunted are both pretty freaky, but the songs are catchy. Also I didn't realize how deep Pretty Hurts was until seeing the video. The album starts off strong but it does get a bit weak as it progresses, but after watching it I do appreciate the songs more than before just listening. More artists need to do things like this, this is what Runaway should have been.
