It looks like the cinematographic process is just a copy of Retribution and as often is the case, IMDB is incorrect pre-release. For instance the 3D is a conversion (I remember people wondered about that as set pictures didn't look like 3D rigs and it was later confirmed by the director in an interview) not native as IMDB lists, and I'd wait a couple weeks for clearer info to come out.

Personally, I like how Sony includes 3D and UHD together. Had they not I probably wouldn't have bought it at all, as I don't like being made to choose between the two formats.

Although I'm getting the QLED next January with no 3d..

Read what Peter wrote above, the 2k di is for the 3d version. The 2d version has a 4k di.

Price.. I can't afford to buy a flagship tv as soon as it comes out.

Spending £1468 on my js8500 in October 2015 seemed very high at the time. And it was released as the £2700! A price I could never pay in my current life (a young 23 year old) I don't know anyone with such a TV at that age 😂

IMDB has also updated their info with a 4K DI as the master format and removing dual strip 3D from the 5K Red source format (its a post conversion).

I'll let you know already that i seen it yesterday and the sound was pretty solid one of the better i have heard in awhile should look good on 4K either way too.
