Has anybody seen this film? It looks very intriguing, I love me a good crime drama/thriller. I am also a huge Vince Vaughn fan.

Yeah, I watched it. It's OK. Some really good moments, but also the worst acting I've ever seen coming from Chandler Duke (it's a small part). A lot of scenes looked like they needed a few extra takes. Still, worth a watch and I think the second half is a little stronger than the first. Since you're a Vince Vaughn fan, you probably should check it out, as he has a pretty large part in the film.

His brother Clark Duke (Greek, Hot Tub Time Machine) is the writer/director.

Yeah, that explains how he got the role. He was extremely stiff and felt like someone acting in a bad youtube video.

I also became a Vince Vaughn fan after he started taking darker roles (since True Detective, I guess). I really wanted to like Arkansas but didn't, it's very slow and implausible. Vince is very good in it, as is John Malkovich, Liam Hemsworth is ok as is Josh Brolin's daughter, but Duke Clark and his brother not so much... I blind bought it on Amazon, and sold it the next day on ebay.

I have thrown this in the player on 3 different occasions and I’ve yet to stay with it past 30 minutes.

Yeah, the movie had potential, especially with the cast, but in the end it just felt flat.

Finally got round to watching this. I was hoping it would be better than the reviews given, but it wasn't really. One of the issues with the film is that all the best scenes are those with Vince Vaughn and he isn't one of the main characters/doesn't feature in large parts of the narrative.

There are also pacing problems as the film just doesn't flow at all.

There are a few engaging scenes and occasionally interesting use of locales. It's not a title I'd recommend to anyone else though.
