Default What is "DTS Master Audio Essential"?

Hello,
I am new to the forum, have been lurking for a while reading reviews, but I've come across something for which I cannot seem to find an answer here. (The Search utility here is not the smartest)

I am familiar with most of the various Surround formats out there, and I am looking forward to experiencing the new DD and DTS lossless audio on BD, but just what is this "DTS Master Audio Essential"?? Is this something additional to DTS Hi-Rez and Master Audio?? Is it a "core" down-rez'ed from 7.1 to 5.1? What?????

It leaves out a bunch of processing modes that aren't important for Blu-ray playback at a reduced licensing cost.

For standard-def DVD only, DTS-HD Master Audio Essential products do not currently support DTS 96/24, ES, ES Matrix, and Neo: 6. These formats are almost never used on any Blu-rays, so you still enjoy full reproduction of the DTS-HD MA lossless track.
