Very good 2-part documentary felt like there could have been a bit more but it's still fairly definitive.

Alex Gibney is always worth a watch.

Great! I didn’t even know this was happening. Gibney is thorough though (I especially liked his Sinatra doc) and Simon is one of my all time favourites (saw him live once). Will keep an eye out!

It's a great watch for sure I did the full 210mins in one sitting. Great career detail in chronological order album by album pretty much.

I would of liked to have heard more about his life and maybe from the likes of David Geffen but I guess that's not what Gibney promised Simon.

There was quite a sad or maybe pathetic bit where he got to why he fell out with Garfunkel and I really wouldn't of guessed it. Sort of made me think it would have been better not having the comment in.

And we don't hear from Chevy Chase either which is kind of a shame.

Some great documentaries with all that streaming money sloshing around. I see there's one on PBS about Blake Edwards.

In UK cinema next month, screening clashes with Chimes at Midnight so not sure which to prioritise! Probably this as I’m more likely to get Welles on disc than a music documentary.
