What the? That image is a publicity shot for "You Were Never Lovelier", which was used on the DVD release.

This artwork should've been saved for Twilight Time's future release of that film.

I've noticed TT seems to be really skimping on the special features lately. Is this a trend intended to save them money?

Skimping? The DVD didn't have any extras other than the trailer for the movie and a couple other Hayworth movies.

So what? A DVD that lacks special features is no justification for a blu-ray release not having them, either.

Well, for a film this old I can't see them digging up a lot. A commentary from a knowledgeable film critic or historian would be nice. Even Kino seems to be doing that a lot lately. And maybe some vintage newsreels from the time. Wouldn't expect any interviews.

Revised cover:

Props to Twilight Time for fixing it and using an image from the correct film.

Release date has been changed to April 18.

Hmmmm, I know this might be a more appropriate image for this movie... but I like the other one better.

Pre-orders have just gone live on the Twilight Time website here:

https://www.twilighttimemovies.com/y...-rich-blu-ray/

or at Screenarchives:

http://www.screenarchives.com/title_...GET-RICH-1941/

according to the claim on the back of the case artwork shown on the twilight time site, these are the only two exclusive retailers for this item, fwiw.

I just placed my pre-order... very excited, this is the best Astaire movie to be released to Blu-Ray since Holiday Inn.

Wasn't 'You'll Never Get Rich' also one of the original titles for The Phil Silvers Show? I guess this one is unrelated to that? (Just remembered that piece of info, thought it was interesting)

I watched this over the weekend, and it's great! The picture quality is amazing for a film of this vintage and the film is even better than I remember it being from the last time I saw it on DVD. Highly recommended for fans of this film.

I watched this and the sound, clarity and print quality were very good, but it was a little too dark. I wish they hadn't squashed it down like that.

anyone compare it to the Mill Creek's recent Ultimate collection release ? Watched the MC last evening, the image is stable and clean, audio is good but the image is soft, almost no detail only marginally better than DVD. Does the TT trump MC's offering ? TIA
