While I suppose it couldn't hurt, at this point, I say the chances are unlikely. It took this long for it to get a release, and if it's coming out in April, it's probably close to being already finalized. But it's not impossible. We got Coppola's cut of Dementia 13 from them (even though I think he restored that himself).

Yeah, at this point we are lucky we are getting this release. If it includes bonus footage, within the film or as a special feature, that would be great. I'm just happy we are getting the theatrical cut period. The film has had the worst of luck when it's come to home releases in the US, so it will be nice to finally have this in HD and in the correct aspect ratio.

Extreme Prejudice is in my top 5 most wanted films on Blu-ray in the US period. Been waiting a really long time. I really hope we get some involvement with Walter Hill on this as well as having a decent transfer that's at least identical to the German release.

Vestron transfers haven't exactly impressed any. Isn't Chopping Mall like the only 4K scan in the entire line or am I misremembering? In any case, I've never seen EP but have heard a LOT about the film - mostly from you, so I'm looking forward to it. It's not Japanese, is it?

Dementia 13 is from a 4K restoration.

I know it's not likely, but I can hope and it doesn't hurt to ask. Hill loves revisiting his movies.

I wonder since now the Vestron line is releasing action movies if they’d release the underrated Arnie classic Raw Deal (1986). It was released theatrically by DEG and since Vestron put out a previous DEG title (Maximum Overdrive), maybe Raw Deal has a shot at a blu too!

I think it's possible. I could see Raw Deal and the Punisher (if it's still with Lionsgate) getting a release at some point.

As far as I know all physical releases of this are the theatrical or the theatrical minus a few seconds of violence in certain countries.
